Bristol based Gate Photography provides studio quality portrait photography in the comfort of your own home.  Why go to the cost of a high street portrait studio when you can have a professional photographer come to you.  Honestly there is absolutely no difference in quality, just a huge difference in price.  I’m not suggesting that other portrait photographers are charging too much, after all they have to pay rates on their premises before they even start to break even.  We can shoot using various backgrounds or natural environments, take a look at our Portrait Gallery showing Bristol family portraits shot at clients homes or in surrounding locations.

Family Portraits are so precious, after all, whats more important than your family? that’s exactly why most people say that family photographs are the first thing they would rescue from a fire or flood. I appreciate how important these memories are to you and will take the time to capture and frame these images for you. no compromises on quality or standards. If the unthinkable were to happen, I back up every image and store it off site for a minimum of 10 years, that provides a little peace of mind.

At Gate Photography we believe in honest prices, we wont tease you with promises of cheap prices and free prints, it’s all sales hype! are you really going to leave a studio with one small print of your choice?

So how do we work?  We will turn up at your place at an agreed time, if we’re going to be late for any reason we will always call you to keep you up to date with our progress.  We will quickly formulate a plan of what,who,where,how so that we’re all singing the same hymn.

We will spend an hour or so capturing some absolutely stunning studio photographs in various poses and styles.

We will quickly browse the images if you have time so that I get a feel for the kind of images you prefer.  I will then post process selected images.  I can either post them to my website or call back in person for a viewing (don’t worry, I don’t do hard sell), once I know what Images you want I will edit them to the style that you like (yes, I can remove, add, smooth images)

• On site picture framing to F.A.T.G conservation standards at fantastic prices.  We have a wide selection of mouldings from real oak to more exotic wenge in a variety of profiles, we use conservation level mountboards ensuring longevity on all framing jobs.
• You will feel more relaxed in your own environment, there will only be me and possibly my female assistant in attendance.
• You can choose from various backdrops, Black is my favorite however white or other colours are also available.
• Various print options, up to A2+ and canvas prints up to A1, Perspex lamination, silver printing etc

Portrait Photography Price £60 and includes:

• Set up of professional backdrop and studio lighting in the privacy of your own home.
• Approximately one hour of photography incorporating as many poses as you want.
• A web based gallery showing all of the images captured during your shoot in low resolution, CD of low res images available on request.
• Two 18″x12″ (inches) glossy/matte prints of your favorite pictures.
